Half of Ukrainians have no money for heat and electricity
Winter has arrived in Ukraine. The situation is distressing. Half of the Ukrainians are unable to pay their heat and electricity bills. For this reason, our food packages are needed even more. We started getting snow by the end of October and since then, the winter weather has continued with temperatures dropping down to minus twelve degrees centigrade at night.
Ugandan Defense Force prays and fasts for Israel!
In early January 2016, I was privileged to be part of an amazing event in Uganda. Drake Kanaabo, our Regional Director for East Africa, organized a five day prayer and fasting event in Uganda for one hundred and seventy officers of the Ugandan Defense Force. This is the first time in history that such an event has occurred, and it represents a break-through following the way Uganda mistreated Israel and the Jewish people under the rule of dictator Idi Amin.

Isreality is Christians for Israel's international community for young Christians exploring questions such as, "Who are the Jewish people?", "What is the significance of Israel?", "What does this mean for our personal walk with Jesus?"
We do this through hosting local events and annual visits to Israel. Journey with us into the richness of the Bible and discover the connection between Christians and the Jewish people as we deepen our understanding of God's purposes for our lives!

Winter 2016 in Ukraine
Since the end of December 2015 the country has been in the grasp of winter, with temperatures of -22 degrees centigrade. And, when the cold abated somewhat, we were blanketed by mountains of snow causing parts of Ukraine to become inaccessible. Fortunately we distributed hundreds of food parcels in the eastern part of the country in the beginning of December and, until the end of the month, an additional 1,800 food parcels in the central and western parts of the country.
Never a dull moment - Tired but thankful! Bring the Jews Home Update January 2016
In December 2015, the weather was favourable with occasional snowfall and temperatures of maximum -8 degrees centigrade! We enjoyed the "warm winter weather"! However with the growing number of olim/immigrants leaving for Israel, our workload was greatly increased with trips to the airport in Dnepropetrovsk, to Kharkov in the east and to Borispol, near Kiev! On December 28th and 29th we used various mini-buses to transport Jewish families to our hiding place or directly to the airport!
