Tours

A Christians for Israel tour to Israel is not just a visit to the Holy Land. We travel through the land with an open Bible and we pay attention to fulfilment of God’s promises for the land and the people of Israel. Furthermore we visit our projects. We meet the people of Israel and may encourage them with our visit.

Christians for Israel realizes the importance of:

  • Organizing educational tours to Israel for different  kind of groups from your country. We can help you to develop a unique Christians for Israel program, and provide a total in-land tour package.
  • Organizing specific (Jewish) experience programs, for example, Shabbat celebration at the Western Wall, Shabbat meals, Jewish holidays, commemorations, visits to synagogues.
  • Organizing meetings with Israelis from all levels of society; representatives of the government, spiritual leaders, Holocaust survivors etc.
  • Providing lectures and seminars by Israeli experts.
  • Organizing diplomacy and advocacy training sessions in Israel in cooperation with local teachers and organizations, including special on-site ‘Why Israel?’ training sessions.

Several of our Christians for Israel affiliates organize tours to Israel. Please contact your local office for more information.

Working trips to Ukraine

Distibuting food to the Jewish community in Ukraine during a working trip.

Each year Christians for Israel organizes working visits to Ukraine. These are one-week trips (from Saturday to Saturday). At the beginning of the week the participants spend one day packing food parcels, which are then brought by bus to poor Jewish families in various cities and villages.

Participants book their own flights to Kiev/Borispol, where they are met by Christians for Israel Ukraine’s Aliyah field worker Koen Carlier. Many of you probably know Koen from the many stories published in our newspapers and websites.

The cost of each working trip is € 400/ $ 450 per person for the inland package (all meals, snacks and drinks included). Participants are encouraged to arrange their own travel insurance. Participants have to make sure they have a valid passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

Unique opportunity
These working visits offer a unique opportunity to meet Jewish people, discover the country of Ukraine, and understand the history of the Jewish people in Ukraine. Little is known in the West about the tragic suffering of the Jewish people in this country.

Our desire is to enable those who have supported our work for many years to visit and experience our participation in the ‘Bring the Jews Home’ project, and to bless the Jewish people in Ukraine. Participants return from these working visits as ambassadors of this special work that we may do in Ukraine.
