International Office Coordinator
Nijkerk, the Netherlands | 24–32 hours per week
to support the executive director in coordinating our international work. You make sure that plans become workable, processes are clear, decisions are followed up, and that our branches, regional directors, partners and office team are well connected. You are a key link: you keep the overview, bring structure, optimise, connect people and information, and ensure that our growth is sustainable.
Your contribution
As coordinator, you work at the intersection of international cooperation, process coordination and governance support. The role is broad and varied.
In practice, this means that you …
- support the executive director in translating strategy into annual plans, workable processes, projects, milestones and follow-up;
- monitor the progress of plans, projects and budgets, and flag any bottlenecks or deviations in good time;
- gather input from the regional directors, branches and office team in preparing the annual plans;
- advise the executive director on potential strategic partnerships, research them and, where needed, take part in discussions together with him;
- maintain working-level contact with (international) partner organisations;
- prepare and organise briefings, team meetings and working meetings, and monitor follow-up;
- organise and prepare international board meetings and meetings with the regional directors worldwide, and take care of documentation, minutes and follow-up of decisions and action points;
- keep ANBI requirements (Dutch charity status), Chamber of Commerce registrations and governance arrangements in order;
- coordinate international activities and conferences with and at our branches, from planning to evaluation;
- in consultation with the regional directors, support new and growing branches with onboarding, agreements, shared formats and practical processes;
- act as the first point of contact for our branches on operational questions and keep them regularly informed about our projects in Israel and Ukraine;
- coordinate the production of new materials, including planning, quality control and consistency;
- coordinate the development of training courses and youth and leadership programmes;
- help gather information, organise coordination and coordinate the practical response in crisis situations.
Working at C4I International
This means working in an international Christian movement with a clear mission. You contribute to worldwide connections between Christians, churches, branches, partners and projects. You work in a small team with plenty of room for initiative. As coordinator, you can count on …

- a position where your experience and talent make a direct difference;

- travelling a few times a year as part of your role;
- a competitive salary appropriate to the position, holiday allowance, a good pension scheme, 23 days’ annual leave, flexible working hours, hybrid working, a good travel allowance and a training budget.
We would love to meet you if you …
- are enthusiastic about our mission and want to express your faith in your work;
- switch easily between strategic issues and operational details;
- are strong in planning, organising, structuring and prioritising;
- are sensitive to governance matters and handle decision-making and documentation with care;

- take initiative and keep the overview in an international and dynamic environment;
- are used to working with Christians from a wide range of church backgrounds;
