Israeli voter turnout reaches 16.68% by 10 a.m.

Some 1.2 million Israelis had voted as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, three hours after polls opened across the Jewish state, Central Elections Committee acting director-general Dean Livne said at a press conference.

That is 16.68% of eligible voters, according to the official.

Turnout is up 0.78 percentage points from the same hour in the 2022 election, he said.
