C4I Prayer Calendar April – May ’26
Exodus and deliverance
Israel went through a number of eventful months. It was a period characterized by great struggle, but also by a major deliverance. The battle against the Iranian regime has been a battle against pure evil. Firstly for the Iranian people, but also for Israel and ultimately for the entire Western world.
In the days leading up to Pesach and Passover, we are reminded of the narratives of redemption. Pesach reminds the Jewish people, and us, of God’s deliverance of His people from the severe oppression in Egypt. God sees and knows His people. We may learn that He has a plan with them. During Easter we commemorate the salvation by Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection. Through His great redemption we too are allowed to know God and walk with Him.
By continuing to commemorate and celebrate God’s miracles and His redemption, we stay focused on God’s faithfulness and we retain hope. “See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.” (Isaiah 60:2).
