While sirens sounded, a plane carried 50 people toward a new life – families traveling from France and the UK to Israel. Among the group was a 92-year-old man making the journey he had waited a lifetime to take. They landed at Ben Gurion Airport in the middle of a war – and they were not alone.
Since October 7, more than 60,000 Jews have made Aliyah. The connection between a people and their land is inseparable. This week was no different.
