A Call to Prayer

‘Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles’
Psalm 25:22

A major attack targeting Iran’s nuclear weapons threat has begun. Once again, many Israelis are heading for the shelters. Full of fear over the danger looming above them. Drones are being launched toward Israel, while the war against Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in the north rages on. Globally, criticism of Israel is mounting, and Israel has to face the hateful and vicious attacks in the political arenas worldwide. Many churches are silent or are just as much pointing the finger at Israel.

The rabbis of Israel have called for a day of prayer and fasting. As Christians for Israel, we join that call. Let us stand together in prayer—trusting that the Most High will not forsake the work He began in the return of the Jewish people to their Promised Land. Until Peace will flow from Jerusalem and cover the whole earth, when the Prince of Peace comes to make all things new.
