The Prayer | Romans 9-11 with Johannes Gerloff #04

In Romans 9:3 the Apostle expresses a wish. It is, from our point of view, actually, an impossible wish, an unheard-of demand. And the wording in Greek indicates that this is not just wishful thinking, or some kind of pious quest being expressed by someone who is not really serious about what he is saying. Paul is dead-serious and commits himself by means of an oath pleading with the Father in Heaven.
