Nikki Haley: Antisemitism must be flagged at every instance

JNS - 26 October 2022
“We have to humiliate those that do it every time they do it,” says the Israel advocate and former South Carolina governor.
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told the Canadian Friends of Jerusalem College of Technology (CFJCT) 50th-anniversary gala dinner on Sunday night that racism must be condemned wherever it occurs.

“We have to call out anti-Semitism every time we see it,” said the Israel advocate and former South Carolina governor.

“It’s not okay. It will never be okay. We have to speak up every time we see it. We have to humiliate those that do it every time they do it. And we have to remind leaders to speak up,” she said.

Her remarks to the 500 guests at the celebratory dinner organized by CFJCT come at a time when anti-Semitism is a major topic of discussion in the United States.

‘It’s not okay. It will never be okay. We have to speak up every time we see it. We have to humiliate those that do it every time they do it. And we have to remind leaders to speak up.’

On Tuesday, German sporting goods giant Adidas announced that it is severing ties with Kanye West following a series of anti-Semitic and offensive statements by the American rapper, producer, and fashion designer.
